Black-Eyed Pea Gumbo

This was very bland. I tried doctoring it up the next night to get rid of what we had left. I put 2 bay leaves some cajun seasoning and some garlic salt. It was better, but still would not make it again.

Banana Banana Bread

I almost made a horrible mistake with this bread. I caught it because I licked the spoon as I was putting the mixing bowel in the sink. I realized that I had not put enough banana in it. I didn't measure it out because my usual recipe calls for 3 bananas and I though that should be enough. So I took it back out and added two more. Total of 5 bananas and a 1/4 cup more sugar and this recipe is a hit. Thank you!! I will make this again.

Broccoli Rice Casserole

This tasted better than I thought it would because some people kept saying it was bland. This is how it is supposed to taste. This is way better than any Broccoli Rice Casserole I have had at a potluck. Thanks for the great recipe. The only thing I changed is I added some cut up chicken to make it more of a meal.
