Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2009
This was absolutely the best potato soup I have ever had! I made a few changes to make it my own! I used red skinned potatoes and left the skins on, and put it in the Crock pot and cooked all day on low, about an hour and a half before we ate I added the milk/flour mixture. I doubled the recipe but used the same amount of milk as in the original recipe, making it a real thick soup. I also used Velveeta cheese melted on the stove top and add to the soup right along with the milk and flour mixture. The only other change I made was i used cooked bacon chopped up rather than ham! I topped with shredded cheese and served! I will never ever use another potato soup recipe again! No dissapointments!!

BBQ Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2008
I made this in a hurry because in the middle of cooking i realized i did not have enough bbq sauce for my chicken! It was a bit thin so i mixed it with the little amount of store bought bbq sauce i did have, the vinegar give it a bit of a zang, i added some onioon and extra sugar! all in all i think this will be a good one to use in the future!

Fudge Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2008
This recipe was very good, my brownies turned out so beautiful! All though i did make a few adjustments. I used self risisng flour instead of the baking soda, salt and all purpose. I also used one egg less then the recipe calls for and i used semi sweet cocoa powder instead of the squares. They turned out very good! nice and moist and chewy! so good! Just be sure and check them b/c this recipe calls for too long of a bake time!

Easy Southern Biscuits

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2008
I love this recipe! These are very good, and easy to make. I did not like the idea of making my biscuits in a muffin pan so i kneaded them and made them into regular biscuits, and when they came out of the oven i rubbed some butter on them. They turned out very beautiful. Slightly sweet, and yummy.

i just made this gravy along with some biscuits and it was absolutly wonderful. The only adjustment i made was to cut the amount of sausage in half. 5 stars for this very very good sausage gravy!
