Snowballs II

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2008
I can not tell you how many times people asked for this recipe when I took them to a Christmas party. They were such a hit! Not to sweet & the perfect consistency. Would give them ten stars if I could. The only thing was that I had to shake them in a ziplock bag multiple times to get them coated fully with the sugar...but well worth it. Great for a Christmas gift as well!

Crunchy Peanut Butter Balls

These are just amazing! Brought them to a Christmas party and everybody loved them and asked for the recipe (did not want to give it because it was just so easy!). I did refrigerate them before dipping in chocolate as others have mentioned. Also just to add a decorative flare, melted some white chocolate and drizzled on top!

Fresh Pear Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2007
Who knew pear pie was so good? Recipe was GREAT, used a box crust and left out the lemon juice & zest (not a big fan). Other than that kept right to the recipe and it turned out perfectly. All the roommates said it was better than apple pie which I agree.

Simple Salisbury Steak

Tasted great, but completely fell apart. Not sure what went wrong, but hey it isn't about the looks, but about the taste! Only reason I gave it four stars. Thinking maybe if I had cooked it longer on top of the stove before I decided to bake it w/ the gravy in the oven, then it would have worked out better.

Grandma Ople's Apple Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2007
Easiest and greatest pie I've ever had! Like others I sprinkled my apples with cinnamon put them in my crust and then poured the sugar mixture over my pie. Also I've found that baking it for closer to 45 minutes (after baking it at 425 degrees for 15 min.) makes for the best pie. When baking it for 35 my apples just weren't as tender as I would have liked them to be. Overall a wonderful apple pie recipe!

Linda's Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2007
I'm a college student and being the first real meal I've ever made, this was extremely easy & tasty. My boyfriend who loves lasagna went back three times! My advice would be to like others use ricotta cheese instead of cottage, other than that there is nothing to change about this great recipe.
