Wife, mother, watercolor artist, instructor, resident baker! Love to instruct our children in the kitchen. I bake with them at least once a week and usually give away our tasty treats to someone we know who has been hospitalized or sick. My husband has Amish in his heritage roots and I love to find recipes from Amish cookbooks. My Granparents ate everything they planted themselves. I also love to make handed down recipes. Especially grape jam from our own grapes. Now when someone requests one of my recipes for a get together, that just makes my day! Everyone make mistakes is so very true in the kitchen. Ooops I'm out of curry just might turn into another family pleasing dish if I just use a little ceativity.
