I'm from the UK, but now live in Brazil. I'm married, have a Son who is 13. Both of them love my food, so therefore I don't get much chance of going out to restaurants. I've been cooking since I was 6yrs old, and I cooked profesionaly for a while. I love Italian regional cooking, Chinese food and I used to like cooking curries, but my Wife and Son hate them. It's also very difficult to find the ingredients here in Brazil. Mainly Brazilian food, pasta dishes or Chinese food. Sometimes I treat them to good old fish and chips! They love it. Trying new things or inventing new recipes. I cook a very nice salmon fish cake with a warm pepperonatta salsa. Poppy seed roll. An absolute disaster! NEVER AGAIN.
