tried this last night for my fiance as a surprise..he came from greece when he was 12 i've never done anything greek because i can't compete with the "real thing" well let me say he was really impressed! i am trying a few alterations at his suggestion the next time to reduce the greasiness (no egg) but otherwise it was great phyllo dough really hard to work with though!

Made this tonight for my 5 year old and my Fiance who is from Greece. I'm just beginning to like greek food and felt this was the safest one to try to make myself. Despite the remark from the previous poster the soy sauce added enough of a flaver to keep it from being too dry like i've had Souvlaki in the past. My Fiance really liked it and was very impressed even my 5 year old who hardly eats a thing cleared his plate so thanks for the great recipe!

This was probably the easiest oven recipe I've done so far with chicken. My four year old even ate it, however if you are using thin chicken breasts keep an eye on the time. I didn't take that into consideration and almost cooked it too long. But otherwise the chicken still had a great flavor! I will definitely make again especially on the last min meal nights!
