I am an amateur cook, but luckily I'm not a picky eater so I try all sorts of things. I'm trying to cut down on my salt and processed foods intake. I have an odd tradition of going vegetarian for lent every year. Since I am only a seasonal vegetarian, I have no idea what to cook. This site has been a god-send for vegetarian recipes.

Spaghetti Sauce
This is incredibly easy, but it tastes great. When in a pinch, I used dried minced onion and it tasted just fine like that too.

Stuffed Tomato Basil Chicken
This is a great recipe, but I would have appreciated a warning that the oven may smoke a bit from the bacon.

Barbecue Tofu Sandwiches
I froze the tofu for an hour after slicing it to give it a firmer texture. This is so easy to make.
