About this Cook
I started cooking about 6 1/2 years ago when me and my boyfriend moved in together. I really didn't like cooking back then at all, basically because I didn't know how and was too afraid to try new things. Now I love to cook, thanks to websites like these and the food network!
My favorite things to cook
I like cooking italian and warm comfort foods like beef stew, soups, pot pies. During the summer i love making different salsas and marinades for the bbq.
My cooking triumphs
Cheesecake for sure!! I got a recipe for a cheesecake from a very good friend of mine and i tried it out. It weighed a ton!! and my oven was at the time 50 years old and it took forever to bake!! But it worked and was really good!
My cooking tragedies
Chicken Helper!! my and and old roommate used to take the hamburger helper box and add canned chicken. We thought it was soo good. Now when I think back to that, that was a cooking tragedy!

Baked Ziti II
This came out delicious!! I read a few reviews and changed it up a little bit. I used 2 16 ounce containers of ricotta and 2 eggs. i had left over homemade marinara sauce in the freezer that i had made with hot italian sausage and used that instead of jarred sauce. it came out really good and the leftovers were even better!

Updated Mulled Cider
This was soo yummy!! I followed the recipe exactly. I made it for a Christmas party we had last night and it was a huge hit!! i had to make a 2nd batch. Some guests added a shot of brandy to it and it enhanced the flavor even more.
