Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
These were so good. I am glad I doubled the sauce. I followed another persons review and put everything in a pot on the stove adding 2T of cornstarch and brought it to a boil. I lightly seasoned my wings and then poured the thickened mixture on, covered and baked 45 minutes. Then I baked 15 more minutes uncovered basting every 5 with sauce. Wow. Thanks for a delicious recipe.

Goulash Supreme

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2010
Seasoned the meat first. Didnt have stewed tomatoes or tomato paste. So I used two cans of tomato sauce and a big can of diced tomatoes. I cut back on the chili powder, didnt want it to spicy for the children. I did par boil the macaroni for 5 minutes. I added about a cup of water and let it all simmer. It came out looking kind of like watery hamburger helper. The taste was great with creamed corn. Thanks

Sweet Kielbasa

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
I followed the recipe except for I used crushed pineapple in heavy syrup. The sauce didnt thicken after 1 1/2 hours in the oven so I took it out and simmered it on the stove for 15 minutes. The flavor tasted like it was an after affect. I marked this a three because I had to dirty an extra pot to finish it and the taste was so icky I ended up throwing away the leftovers.

Honey Ginger Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2010
This is my second time making this. I doubled the recipe and the shrimp made quite a bit of juice so I added some cooked spaghetti and left it on until the juices cooked off and it became sorta sticky. It came out wonderful.

Cindy's Tasty Wings

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
These wings were on point. The first thing I love about this recipe is that there are only 4 ingredients and they all happen to be common things you might have on stock. I didnt have apricot preserves but my real fruit grape jelly worked just as well. I turned the chicken after about thirty minutes. I also drained the fats and put them back in under the broiler. Other then that I followed the recipe. Yummy

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2010
These are pretty good. I rated them at a five because the recipe is outstanding. However, i won't make them using three tablespoons of dough anymore because the cookies were too large and I had to adjust the cooking time. This is classic chocolate chip cookie dough. Thanks.

Chicken Lo Mein

Was easy. Tasted good but not like the lo mein at a restaurant. The ginger overpowered everything else.

Amish White Bread

This bread was fairly easy and it came out so beautiful. It is kind of sweet though. I did substitute a few items. I used raw cane sugar instead of white and light olive oil instead of vegetable. Thanks

Mac and Cheese II

Fairly easy recipe. I will be sure to cut the velveeta into small squares before I need them so they will melt faster. I added one beaten egg just for a fluffier texture. Will be making this again. Thanks.

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2009
These are awesome. I changed the recipe to 16 servings and used cane sugar. I also added chocolate chips. I skipped the refridgerater step and I didnt mash them down with the fork. I used a melon baller and made them bite size, I didnt spray the cookie sheet either. This made 3 full pans of 24 cookies. Cooked them for 11 minutes and let them sit on the cookie sheet for 5 minutes before mooving to a rack to cool. Perfect. This recipe will be in my family now. Thanks

I actually made a different type of cinnamon rolls and didn't want to use their cream cheese frosting. This glaze was perfect. I will be making these next time. Thanks

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
I made these a while ago and had bad results. I was determined to get a good batch of brownies out of this recipe. After reading all the reviews I couldnt understand why mines came out all wrong. This time around I followed the recipe and cut the sugar back by half a cup. They coooked in 40 minutes. I poked them in two places to make sure they were done. They are wonderful, warm with ice cream on top. Thanks Brooke

Butter-Dipped Biscuit Squares

Great recipe, very easy and quick with only a few ingredients. I used 1/2 cup keifer and 1/2 cup water instead of milk. I did cook it in the butter and everything came out great. I will never buy premade biscuits again. Thanks

Easy and Quick Swiss Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 1, 2009
This was bland and the meat was dry with a rough texture. I have made cube steak in my dutch oven many times and I was looking for something that can cook overnight and while I at work. I only cooked it for 7 hours. Maybe I will add way more spices and shorten the cooking time and try it again. Thanks
