I like to cook anything with chicken and beef. When I moved to New York for college my mom gave me some recipes on index cards that her mother handed down to her. I have had more disasters than triumphs, but nowadays it seems like every dish is a triumph! PRAISE GOD. I tried to cook some chicken legs in the broiler once. But I didn't realize beneath the oven, where folks store pots and pans, is not the broiler. I sat those chicken legs beneath the flames for 3 hours and they were still raw. My girlfriend was unimpressed.
