Grandma's Green Bean Casserole
I will never make the traditional green bean casserole again!! This was a hit with my family for Christmas. I did as others suggested...I sauteed the onions first. Cut back to 3/4 cp sour cream, 1/2 tsp. salt, added 1 tsp pepper and 1&1/2 tsp garlic powder. I added cheese and fried onions to grn bean mix. I put more fried onions and ritz crackers in a large ziplock bag, added the melted butter and smashed it all up together for the topping. Easy and no crumb mess to deal with. This was the only dish I personally made this year....purchased ham and other sides from honey-baked hams...but this was the dish everyone raved about!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff
I too was hesitant about just putting chicken, butter and the dry seasoning in the crock pot, but it turned out wonderful! Sauce was just a little too rich for my liking. May not use as much cream cheese next time and see if that helps. This really is a wonderful 'busy day' dish to keep around.
