We've just finished our supper. WOW! Husband enjoys many versions of meatloaf and I usually don't care for any of it. We both really, really enjoyed this recipe! This one is a winner and will be the only way I prepare meatloaf in the future. He's already looking forward to the leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Made this twice in as many weeks. I've tried it as written and have also added rice noodles and shredded carrot to the filling. Both ways were yummy and I'm looking forward to trying other variations in the future. It can be a bit labor intensive but the end result is quite rewarding. Especially if you invite someone special to help in the kitchen.

Perfect! Followed recipe but cooked in slow cooker. Used a local dark beer called Southern Pecan. Took this to a pot-luck and party. It was a big hit! I cannot recommend this enough!
