I live in Iowa with my husband and our daughter. I stay at home with the wee one so I have lots of time between chasing her for cooking and baking. I love to bake! Fall and winter are my two favorite seasons because I can heat up the kitchen and everything becomes cozy and delicious. I'm looking forward to teaching my daughter everything I know. I love to bake and lately have found joy in making bread and jellies. I also love all the work that goes into preparing a meal, the more I have to chop and mince, the better. People are always looking for some special tool to help them out but a little extra work can only make the meal tastier. At christmas my father-in-law makes a boneless rib roast that is out of this world! They also make scrapple which is one of the best things I've ever eaten. I made a pecan pie that I took over to a girlfriend's house and one of the girl's there said it was the best pecan pie she had ever had, and she said she never had one as good living down south. When I find a new recipe that I think sounds delicious and is anything but delicious.
