I used hot italian sausage and just a little crushed red pepper and the heat factor was fine. I also agree with most reviews that this is better the next day. I used a little cornstarch to thicken - otherwise it is pretty then. I liked it, but probably won't make again. Not a huge fan of the sausage.

Bev's Chocolate Pie

I made this for Christmas and my mother-in-law said it was better than her mother's pie. My husband is begging me to make another one. My son said this was the best chocolate pie he has ever had in his mouth. I didn't get to try it, because it was gone in a flash, but based on praise it gets five stars. Looked beautiful too.

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

I made this for an office party where all of the ladies are dieting. I made it with fat free cream cheese and fat free sour cream and followed the recipe exactly. Everyone loved it. I served it with raw veggies. Will make again.

Easy Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

I'm giving this five stars for consistancy and ease of preparation. The consistancy was creamy and it froze well. I used whole milk and added a can of sweetened condensed milk. Next time I will only add 1/2 a tsp. of peppermint because it is a little strong. My family loved it and I will make again.

Spanish Rice Bake

I give this 5 stars because it tastes great and is super easy to make. I used rotel to add a little spice. I also added a little bit of corn. Family really enjoyed.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

This was super easy! Family loved it (and they don't like anything new). I didn't use beer, instead used chicken broth. Towards the end of cooking I added 3/4 cup of minute rice and a little water. It was very good the next day.
