About this Cook
I am a new mother to a baby. We are a military family stationed in South Korea until 2010. We live just south of the North korean border (about 15 miles south). We don't have a car here and our 600 sq. ft. apartment has 3 rooms. I am very into parenting. And I love to cook a good meal for my husband.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook desserts. I get complimented the most on my desserts. I also enjoy cake decorating although I am horrible at making roses haha.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My fav family cooking traditions would include helping my mom make lasagna all day long and eating my great grandma's potato salad and golumpki casserole.
My cooking triumphs
My biggest cooking triumph to date - it depends on who you ask. I make really good gnocci with soy sauce and chive butter. My caramel pumpkin cheesecake was also a HUGE hit. I can also make very good biscuits and sausage gravy.
My cooking tragedies
oh gosh I have at least one a week! LOL usually i can turn them into something edible though haha.

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops
I followed the recipe exact except I had to make my own BBQ sauce because I didn't have any. I made it using ketchup, worch. sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, steak sauce, and hot sauce. Anyways, the recipe is great and my bone-in chops were done in 1 hr. 20 min. They were very moist. I think the star of this dish is the onions actually. They are beautiful at the end of cooking and add an important flavor to the chops so don't omit them!
