About this Cook
I've always had a knack for cooking. Kind of a baptism by fire, kuz my parents weren't home a lot when I was younger. Someone had to cook. So...I did and wow I love it. There's nothing better than having friends over for dinner and getting rave reviews.
My favorite things to cook
Chicken, Steak, Pork pretty much anything that falls under meat and potatoes I cook. I live up in the Northwoods so my background is with hefty and hearty food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Venison...my family hunts every year and is a large part of out family's menu.
My cooking triumphs
Breaking out of the box. Going organic, and focusing on taste with a healthy twist.
My cooking tragedies
Recently had to cook for my family tried a new pasta Alfredo and I didn't make enough sauce. Ended up dry and lacked flavor. I redeemed myself a week later with my savior the GRILL and 8 slices of 12oz ribeye's which I cut that day. My Mushroom Burgundy sauce is unbeatable everyone loved it.

Spicy Rapid Roast Chicken
I read the reviews and I had no problem with the temperature in my oven. It is Rapid Roast right, and it saved me an additional 45 minutes of cooking. From now on any dish I make with whole chicken as a base I will incorporate this recipe. Oh yeah if your oven starts smoking you probably need to clean it. A dirty and crusty oven causes uneven cooking, which in not good for any dish, especially if your looking for that perfect result.

Mushroom Blue Cheese Turkey Burgers
It's important to prep your food before you mix it all together. So when you do mix the turkey burger it sticks together. I would even let it sit in the fridge for 30-45 mins to let it set. I went light on the onions and heavy on the blue cheese.

Ham N Asparagus Roll-Ups
Great finger food. I made them for a dinner party I threw last week. Everyone loved them. Great twist on an old recipe. I like it.
