Old Fashioned Tea Cakes I
The tea cakes are delicious, but the dough is impossible to work with. If you want taste, this recipe is great, but presentation is almost impossible. Little lumpy light spicy cakes is what I ended up with. Using a shaped cupcake tin might help. But A+ for taste!

Sugar-Free Spice Cookies
The recipe is actually quite good, but as a bread. I used dried figs instead of raisins, and added some chopped up candied ginger instead of ground ginger. The cookies came out not very good and pretty cakey, so I tried another batch in a cake pan, and it is wonderful with some butter and honey- a great alternative to overly sweet morning breads.

Healthy Banana Cookies
I made these into bars, left out the dates, added cinnamon, nutmeg and ground ginger, and topped it with flax seeds and coconut. They are amazing! Great treat to bring to my softball games!
