Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
These are the best I have ever had and for sure the best I have made. I added a little vanilla and applesauce also. I made the recipe for 12 servings and freeze the rest. Just pull out what you need later and microwave.

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

Absolutely wonderful. The whole family loved it. I used slices of cheese inside instead. I am wondering if anything melts inside the chicken no matter what you use?

Ricotta Gnocchi

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
Sorry, if that is a gnocchi, I haven't been missing out. There is no flavor, like eating a piece of dough. It helped when I cut up sausage and the cheese chunks with sauce.

Might as well use a decent BBQ sauce. Tastes just the same.

The Best Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2009
I made some recommended changes and they became more then a 5 star! I used 1/2c. sugar, 1/2c. brown sugar, no butter but a 1/2c. of Musslemans(the best!) chunky applesauce. Also made them into muffins. They are very moist and light, tasty too. They are being scoffed up faster than the sliced bread! Thanks for the changes Treskele.

Oh so delicious! I only added a drizzle of molasses and a glug or two of orange juice. I love a sauce with a citus tang.

Chicken Breasts with Lime Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2009
Great flavor! I always marinate my chicken with a marinade of some sort to match the recipe first. This one use a garlic and herb by Lawerys. With that you don't need the egg batter for the bread crumbs.

Very nice unique flavor! It's perfect gravy texture, not to sweet,or spicy, a very good blend for a stew with a twist!

Only difference is to marinate the chicken in the terriyaki sauce for a few hours before cooking in pan. Top with cheese and bacon about 15 minutes before done. Awsome!

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 5, 2009
Great flavor! Good idea to cook the creasant rolls 4 minutes less than actual time. I spread the dough right around the edge of the pan for side crust as well. A nice change...I put some chopped steak in a crock pot and cooked it with the taco seasoning and a 2/3 cup of water for 4 hours on high or 8 on low. I don't care for ground beef, so the meat is tender and tasty in the pie. You can use lean meat, f.f sour cream, f.f refried beans, low fat cheese and their are even light crescent rolls out there. It tastes just as good!

Chicken Puffs

They were gobbled up by all! I ended up cooking boneless chicken breasts in sour cream and cream of chicken soup in the crock pot for about 4 hours on high (or 8 on low)until the meat fell apart. That gives the "stuffing" great flavor.

Absolutely the best! I stuffed it with garlic, and some ready to toss carrots and onion(Good way to use leftover veggies!) Then I topped it with an applewood smoked bacon. it really gave the chicken great flavor. This bacon is always gone before the main course.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2008
This was one of the best tasting meal I have made in the crockpot! I made just a couple of changes however. I added two 15oz. cans of red enchilada sauce and 1 15 oz. can(instead of 8 oz.) of tomato sauce in place of the can of chopped tomatoes and chilis. All chili beans, no black beans. All changes were just personal preferences. Made some corn bread to go with it and voila, deelish!

The Perfect Mai Tai

Way too much orange juice. I cut it literally in half, if not more. The grenadine is a nice touch with just a pinch drizzle of it. Where can you find the almond syrup and simple syrup?

Marinated Baked Pork Chops

This was so easy and delicious! I made the marinade and brushed it on both sides of the pork chops(gave them a few quick pokes first) and let it marinate in the frig for an hour or so before baking. I served them with teryaki noodles by Knorr/Lipton.Great flavors together.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
This was a great idea for pizza lovers who like a bite! I got an already roasted in store chicken (the meat has so much flavor and is tender!),shredded it and soaked it over night in "Frank's Hot Sauce". You won't need the butter. When I put it on the pizza, I then sprinkled more hot sauce on it. I also used a mix of Jack and Colby cheese as well as Mozzarella. I had some homemade chunky blue cheese dressing that I brushed on the crust. You really don't need much. The pizza could get soggy. Yum. Was a hit at a Super Bowl party and will be made again.

Erica's Delicious Slow Cooker Beef Roast

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
The meat had no flavor and was quite dry. I had to thicken the tasteless liquid it was cooking in with a little cornstarch, add some more seasonings such as, onion and garlic powders more salt and pepper then turning it into a creamy gravy. I had also added whole mushrooms in the beginning. All was well when gravy was put on the meat and veggies.
