These cookies were so excellent, and a sweet reminder of my childhood. While not exacty as my grandmother made them, I think these were better! :

I've been experimenting with chapati, rotis and now naan...wow was this recipe awesome! Last week I purchased some for my curry dinner, and it was good. This beats the store - bought, hands down! Yummy. I have to admit, the flour was a bit much, so I added more water a little at a time till I had a good dough. Let it rise, made the little balls, andlet them rise. I rolled it very thin, and sprayed a bit of oil in the frypan, they do cook pretty quickly, and bubble up nicely! Thanks for posting this recipe!
