I have learned to cook from my father from about the age of 12. As the years passed my ability to cook advanced. I now reside in Plano, IL with my lovely wife Carrie. She loves it that I love to cook and do it as well as I do. My favorite thing to cook would have to be my famous stuffed cheese burger. My most successful one thus far is a Mexican stuffed burger consisting of roasted jalapeño peppers diced into the meat and stuffed with pepper jack cheese. My family's biggest tradition comes during the winter time. Every Saturday, when snow was still on the ground my dad (or I) would wake up early and cook a mound of "German Pancakes", a simple fried pancake, but still to this day, brings back fond memories of the good-o-days. I must say my biggest triumph in cooking must be when I cooked a birthday dinner consisting of Parmesan Crusted Pork Loin, Italian baked brussel sprouts and Garlic potatoes. My biggest tragedy regarding cooking would have to be from about 1 year ago when I made a drastic rookie error. I finished frying some breaded pork chops and not thinking I emptied the still hot pan of oil right into the sink where there was a considerable amount of standing water sitting... it took about a week for my burns to heal. The chops were good though!
