About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
I love homemade soups, preferably soups that are vegetable based and pureed to make them thicker. Fav soups would be yam, broccoli, carrot/turnip and split green pea. I love to use chicken stock rather than water for a more delicious taste.
My cooking triumphs
Any of my homemade soups.

Easy Banana Brownies
I made this twice - first time with white flour and second with whole wheat flour. There was very little difference in taste, maybe slightly denser with the ww flour, but still tasty. The bananas keep the brownies nice and moist. The "girls night out" group all requested the recipe. Thank you Gloria!

Broccoli Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo
I sauteed garlic with butter and olive oil and added sliced red peppers, then added the chicken. I used cream of broccoli soup for a change of pace and used penne noodles. Also, I added in a some freshly grated pepper. The sauce was very tasty. We loved this and definitely would make it again.

Hot Feta, Artichoke and Roasted Red Pepper Dip
I made this for girls night out and it was a big hit. I went by other suggestions and used half mayo/half sour cream and half feta/half mozzarella. I would definitely make this again, however, I might cut the recipe in half as it really made a lot. Hubby loved the leftovers too. Thank you for a great recipe.
