Absolutely loved this dish. I followed the recipe exactly with the exception of the rosemary. We aren't big on rosemary. My Mom who is very pick ate two helpings and sang my praises on Facebook about it.

Italian Love Cake

I was really hoping that since this cake has gotten some great reviews that we would love it, however, my family, who are big into sweets mind you, wouldn't eat it. I personally did not think the ricotta cheese filling was sweet enough and I couldn't get past it's texture. Oh well...win some you lose some.

Ham Breakfast Braid

Made this dish for breakfast this morning and we really enjoyed it. Instead of the ham since my husband doesn't care for it, I fried up a half pound of bacon and added the crumbled bacon to the egg mixture. Next time I think I will adds some sauteed onion and green peppers for an extra kick. I think my only complaint was that it was somewhat dry because of the crescent rolls.

Lemon Coolers

These cookies were so simple and easy to make and they turned out awesome. My only suggestions are that two cups of sugar is way to much, I didn't even use up one cup so don't waste the second cup. Also, I stuck my dough in the freezer for a few minutes prior to dropping and rolling and they were so much easier to handle.

Chili Dog Casserole I

I liked this dish, not enough to give it five stars my husband on the other hand ate just about the entire casserole all on his own, I had one scoop. I think it's safe to say he would give it five stars.

Banana Banana Bread

I thought this was a very bland banana bread. I should have followed the suggestions of some of the earlier reviews by adding some cinnamon and vanilla. Not sure if I will try this one again.

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

This was really good. My family really enjoyed it and everyone was asking for the recipe. I omitted the mayo as I didn't have any. I thought it was a little too sweet but everyone disagreed and thought it was perfect as is.

Trail Mix Cookies

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

This was incredible. I accidently made the jello according to the box so I added more water than I should have...it still turned out really good and I can't wait to make it again. My Husband about killed the 9x13 pan all by himself.

Mexican Cornbread Salad

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

I loved this sauce, had to use salsa verde instead of the tomatillo salsa because we couldn't find it at our grocery store but it was really good either way. Has a bit of a kick to it, but obviously wasn't too bad because I kept digging in for more. Drizzled this over pork tacos as well as used to dip our tortilla chips.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Loved this soup. Took the suggestions of other reviewers and added some sauteed onion, next time I will also add carrots and celery. Added mild cheddar cheese to each bowl. So good and warm!!

Chicken Tortilla Soup V

It's Chili by George!!

Made this chili over the weekend for my Husband who is out of commision with a cold, he enjoyed it. He topped each bowl with a sprinkle of mild cheddar and a scoop of fresh onion. Not being a big "bean fan" I have never really enjoyed chili, but I actually ate this one and agreed that it was quite good. I allowed it to slow cook for several hours on the stove.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Made this lastnight for dinner and wasn't overly impressed by it. I thought it could have used a lot more seasoning and it definately needs to be basted. I finally basted it with about an hour left even though the recipe says it's not required. The skin was very dry looking.

Macaroni Tuna Casserole

I love this recipe. Growing up my Step-Mom always made it and through the years I started making it on my own. The only changes I make is adding some chopped onion and sprinkling the top of the dish with French's Fried Onions for a crunch. This with a piece of buttered bread kept me fed many times during my years as a single gal on her own.

Sausage Crescent Rolls

I make something very similiar to this. I add an onion to the sausage mixture while it is browning and don't bother with the egg mixture and poppy seeds on the top. I absolutely love this and have actually been craving it for a couple of days now!
