About this Cook
I love to eat, and love to cook for myself as well as for the ones I love. Disclaimer: I wouldn't actually call myself a cooking expert, because there are still many dishes I haven't mastered yet. But my friends and family do love my cooking.
My favorite things to cook
Korean BBQ short ribs from scratch. I make my own marinade.
My cooking tragedies
Chili Rellenos. I've tried twice with two different recipes. The time I spent on making this dish was just not worth it. I've made up my mind that from now on, I'll go to the restaurant whenever I have cravings for chilli rellenos again.

Beth's Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
The original recipe turned out to be way too sweet for me. The texture was great. I think next time I'll cut down the sugar by half.

Easy Lemon Cookies
This is a keeper! I didn't give 5 stars because I'd still want to make those traditional recipes for cookies. But this is very good if you need to make a treat quickly and w/o any fuss.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins
I followed the recipe closely (except adding a few more blueberries) and I'm not a novice baker, but the muffins turned out a disappointment. Too much baking soda, and not flavorful enough. I've definitely used better blueberry muffin recipe than this one. Not a keeper for me.
