I'm from Homer Alaska, but moved to Australia in September 2007. Its a much different place here than it is back home and some of the foods I grew up loving, I just cant get here. Been hard adjusting but so far I'm making due with what I have available to me. I am planning on moving back home with my cat and husband within the next 2 years. Something I'm pretty excited about doing. I love cooking pasta dishes, chili (now that I have a good recipe to work with), fried foods.. pretty much anything as long as its not too hard to put together. I do love baking but I really need a better oven before I can start doing that again. every year for christmas me and my mom would make tons of cookies.. Sugar cookies, chocolate chip, those ones where you push the hershey kiss in the middle, cut outs... then we'd give them away for christmas gifts..
