Tomato and Mozzarella Bites

So easy and tasty! I made them a few hours ahead, then when the party started, drizzled oil and vinegar and shook sea salt on top. It's like salad on a stick. Bet summer tomatoes would rock! Thanks for the idea.

Cornucopia

Looked easier than I thought to make... kids helped. The braid part is hard to secure. Make sure you have it on there good. My 1st one fell off while baking, so I quickly made another and fastened it w/toothpicks (pushed way in so not to burn). I will try again and see if I can get it to look a little better. I served w/veggies and amy's cilantro sauce from the site - awesome!

Chicken Hariyali Tikka

I will try again, with less salt! But after sitting in the fridge for a day, the salt seemed toned down. Lovely fragrance! I had some of Amy's Cilantro Sauce from another dish left over and dipped the chicken in it.. MMM. Very nice. Thank you.

Chocolate-Covered OREO Cookie Cake

The stars are for the frosting. I put this on a special chocolate cake of mine. I use low fat cream cheese, low fat cool whip and I use 24 chocolate wafer cookies rather than oreos. Oh my word... Everyone who tries it says it's the best ever. I mean, they just about freak out it's so good. :0) Thanks for the easy recipe!!

Amy's Cilantro Cream Sauce

This was very good!! I didn't have tomatillo sauce, but I did have tomatillos.. I cut them up, microwaved them to soften them and threw them in. I did as others suggested, cut the celery salt in half, cut the cumin in half. I doubled the sour cream. The office at the pot luck raved! I served it on plain chicken breast. The manager took the rest home to put on her fish dinner! Thx!!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Very good and very easy. I had vanilla flavored Organic Soy Milk on hand - worked just fine! Very puffy and tasted great! I followed the recipe otherwise. I just wanted to also mention that I did not overstir my batter and I left it mildly lumpy and "I" believe that helps keep the pancakes fluffy. Oh, and I beat the egg in another bowl before adding to the dry mix. Thx!

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

I tried the Pizza - I do like the flavors. If you're not sure if everyone else will like it - try it on a tortilla first. Same ingredients.. Put the chix and cheese on - heat in micro, then the sauces, roll and eat!

Sour Cream Coffee Cake III

Excellent cake. I've made it three times now. I did have to extend the baking time to near an hour. The first time I doubled the streusel as suggested - wayyy too sweet. I just follow the recipe as is - but lengthen the baking time. Thanks!

Brown Sugar Pound Cake I

Made it tonight. Followed exactly - came out great! I read earlier comments.. You shouldn't lessen the sugar, it'll make the cake less dense. Also, it's very important to add sugar very slowly. Take 5-7 minutes to add. Add eggs one at a time and beat until just blended. Don't over beat eggs! Your cake will overflow if you do. I baked mine in a metal bundt pan for 70 minutes and it was perfect. Thanks for the recipe!

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

I used a box of Wolfgang Puck's broth (4 cups), 3 big potatoes, chopped sandwich ham, no added salt, and followed the rest of the recipe. I topped w/cheddar before serving - pretty tasty! Was thinner than I hoped, but still very good. Is is a "soup" not a "chowder." Thanks!
