Cocoa Oatmeal Cookies
These were good, but I cheated a bit and added chocolate chips. :) I think they wouldn't have been sweet enough without them. They were really tasty with the chocolate chips, though.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
This is a great slow-cooker meal on a cold, winter day. We've found that putting seasoning on the chicken and letting that sit in the fridge overnight is helpful, otherwise the chicken is a bit too plain tasting. I followed some others' suggestions and cut back on the amount of biscuit dough, and let it cook longer. I've also added some frozen vegetables and been pleased with the outcome.

Wild Rice and Ham Casserole
This is one of my husband's favorite meals. We usually add cauliflower as well. Otherwise I follow the recipe, and it's always turned out great.
