Polish Rice Cake
yes yes and more yes. I did add a bit of sugar to the cooking rice. You can add any kind of dried fruit in it. It's great. My husband and I love it. I am making it AGAIN this week.

Mashed Potato 'n' Parsnip
Just ok. I'd rather have a different dish. It just wasn't very flavorful.

Louisiana Shrimp Casserole
I agree that this dish would be bland without some additions. My additions were: creole seasoning to the shrimp and soup mixture. I had to use onion instead of mushrooms, so I also sauteed garlic with it. Good idea! Good recipe! My husband loved it....I don't eat shrimp, so i can't rate it for myself.
