About this Cook
I have been married for 20 years and have 3 beautiful daughters. I work part time and am on the run with the girls or cooking all the rest of the time.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. I i really enjoy seasonal cooking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is very traditional. We always make lots of cookies and candy for the holidays and have good traditional meals but usually with a new spin on them.

Banana Chocolate Chip Cake
Great cake and very easy. Baked it in a 9 inch pan, didn't add the chocolate chips but did make as a "poke" cake by pouring instant chocolate pudding on the top. Delicious!

Rhubarb Bars
Very good. Even my daughters who don't eat rhubarb enjoyed this bar. Played with the recipe a bit to make it in a 9x13 pan. All in all, a new way to use rhubarb.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup
A true winner. I have been making homemade chicken noodle soup for years and this is definitely the best. I made the recipe as indicated but did use others suggestion of adding precooked chicken from the grocery store with it's juices. A true keeper and so easy.
