I love to make cookies! They work for any occasion, whether as a gift, or a special occasion in school, I'm always the one to volunteer my time. I've also started to get interested in breads and pastries. My best memories of good cooking are pot-lucks at my lutheran church. Lutheran ladies know how to cook! My mom also makes really good green bean casserole. Today I made Raspberry, Lemon, and Blueberry Scones, they were absolutely DELICIOUS! And, suprisingly, they weren't hard to make at all. And I found the recipe on this site. I tried to make bread on my own last week and my yeast was really old. I followed the recipe exactly, but it failed miserably. I used the kitchen aid and it was still goopy, definitely didn't rise.
