'Day Before Payday' Kielbasa and Corn Hash

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

Absolutely delicious! The frosting is tart and sweet, perfectly matched to the light and airy lemon cake. I added yellow food coloring to the frosting, and decorated them like plaid for a "Flannel Party."

Gobi Aloo (Indian Style Cauliflower with Potatoes)

I added a can of stewed tomatoes. Also, I threw some cooked chicken breasts in it to soak up some flavor a few minutes before serving it. Hubby keeps asking for it!

Aloo Gobi ki Subzi (Potatoes and Cauliflower)

I like a little extra liquid, so added a can of stewed tomatoes. With that, I needed to add add'tl seasoning. Very yummy side dish.

Fast and Friendly Meatballs

Very good. I added a TB of olive oil, parmesan cheese and minced garlic (as others had suggested). Quick and delicious. Only 4 stars as I prefer to cook meatballs in sauce.

Frog Eye Salad

A family favorite I make a couple times a year. As others have said I also leave out the coconut and use colored marshmallows. I did need to make a note on my print out so I wouldn't mindlessly dump all the salt into the custard mix and instead divide it.

Big Soft Ginger Cookies

Very good cookie. Be sure to refrigerate the dough before handling. Instead of margarine, I used butter, which made the texture look different than the picture (I'm guessing). Also, to speed the process up, press slightly in palm of hand, instead of after it's on the cookie sheet.
