I'm just getting started with cooking, but I'm pretty good at picking great recipes and having them come out excellent tasting. I love trying out new recipes with my boyfriend. I like to try out things that use fresh local vegetables & meats like stuffed peppers, guacamole, meatballs, etc. Cooking Chicken Divine (chicken broccoli casserole) and making almond roca every Christmas. Making almond roca, it's very finicky and takes a few trials to perfect, but I managed to make it right on the first try! The candy would burn before it reached the temperature it should be. I learned to use my eyes rather than the thermometer, but I burned about 3 batches before I got it down.
