Southern Fried Chicken Breast Dinner!
LadySrae Says "A Little Bit of Flavor and a Whole Lotta Love"
About this Cook
Never underestimate my ability to burn tea....
My favorite things to cook
Cookies, Fried Chicken, Mashed taters, hmmmmmmm
My favorite family cooking traditions
With a one year old in the house, I am really enjoying keeping her entertained in her highchair while I go about my cooking *cough cough* attempts lol. I am hoping to start the tradition of having her as my little helper....I remember helping my mom make simple kool-aid. I got to stir! I want to create many different memories such as that for my daugher.
My cooking triumphs
Making my own recipe for Chocolate chip & Peanut Butter Chip cookies...yes together....Fried Ham and Egg Sandwich...who knows where I'll be led...Lord help me!
My cooking tragedies
Forgetting to drain the KRAFT macaroni and cheese would be one but hey...I was 11. Then there was the time I charred the hamburgers while leaving the inside ICY - now THAT takes talent!

Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
I used 3 sticks of butter instead of the shortening and not as many oats (I just winged it because I was too lazy to measure it but I KNOW it wasn't 3 cups)...I used a bit more peanut butter and even added a large handful of chocolate chips.....I was suprised at how flat they came out but perhaps they are supposed to be like that? Anyway, there's is something very wonderful about these cookies....since they are made with whole wheat flour maybe....they just taste wonderful and you know they are that much better for you. My one year old is beggin for more that is for sure!
