I was born in São Paulo, Brazil. Spent half of my life there. Got married to a brazilian whom I met in the US (we were high school sweethearts), mother of one toddler, living here for over a decade. I recently started a home-based business, making brazilian cakes and sweets to order, for all sorts of occasions. I took some basic cake decorating classes and I always look forward to improve and one day, become a 'real' cake decorator, making wedding cakes and who knows maybe having my own little cake business! Desserts, pasta. Homemade simple brazilian dishes: rice, beans, beef, pasta, brazilian 'churrasco' (BBQ), desserts and breads. Cakes and sweets. I'm always trying out new recipes to come up with new ideas for cakes. When I was yonger, it took me a long time to learn how to make the perfect brazilian rice. Most of the times, it was too sticky and gooey! =)
