About this Cook
Busy like everybody else. Like to try new things out when company comes. Raising 3 kids single handed, and trying to get them to cook for themselves before they go to college. I tend to look at a recipe --run out and get the ingredients, and make it!
My favorite things to cook
Indian food is my favorite food! Not too fond of Mexican with the exception of loaded nachoes. Desserts---can't have a get together without them. Cottage cheese pancakes---yum! Mocha Cheesecake are my kids favorite foods.
My favorite family cooking traditions
A good cooked breakfast on weekends. Baking for friends for Christmas--having home made cookies in the cookie jar at all times!
My cooking triumphs
Made and decorated my own wedding cake
My cooking tragedies
I can't make ribs as good as my ex can---so my kids say! sigh!

Chocolate Zucchini Cake II
I can't believe it--I ahve been using this recipe for years but couldn't find it and HERE IT IS!! THE BEST chocolate cake EVER-mine is only slighlty different --I also add 1/4 tsp cloves and zest of half an orange (I usually make two cakes at a time). You don't need to look further for any chocolate cake.

Cranberry Hootycreeks
Ok I double checked all the ingredients and have made dozens of jars of other mixes--THIS ONE only fills the jar 3/4 full WITHOUT PACKING!! Is there something missing??

Surprise Chocolate Fudge
very easy no beating forever! My daughter thought their was coconut in it--the bean casing was a little chewy. When I make it next time, I will puree the beans in the food processor. Definitely a keeper!!!!
