My husband & I
About this Cook
I am a young, married, working professional who is most likely cooking, wine tasting, or doing something outdoors on the weekends. After work I like to try a new recipe at least once a week. I have two adorable Yorkies.. and if they're lucky they may get a taste of what I'm cookin' up for dinner!
My favorite things to cook
If I have to saute garlic... I love it! I always incorporate my own personality into dishes, and include wine whenever possible! My favorite things to cook are pasta dishes & soups/stews.
My cooking triumphs
First Thanksgiving in our house Fall 2007... it was delicious!
My cooking tragedies
A tbsp of salt in cookies - instead of a tsp ... YIKES!

Chicken Breasts Pierre
WOW! That's what my husband said numerous times... so so good. This is definitely a keeper. AND THIS RECIPE NEEDS NO ALTERATION - IT IS PERFECT AS IT IS!

Banana Banana Bread
Never had banana bread this moist before! I think I made a mistake by using unsalted butter, but it's still amazing. I do agree with others... add I tsp of nutmeg or cinnamon does give the banana a nice kick! Will make over and over again!

Chicken Florentine Casserole
What a great recipe! I used all the same ingredients... but prepared it slightly differently. First I sauted 1 large bag of fresh spinach with mushrooms in a little butter until all the moisture was out. Placed those in bottom of pan. Then, I browned the chicken in the same skillet for about 3 minutes on each side. I added ALL sauce ingredients to the pan and gently stirred until mixed well around chicken, brought to light bubble, and poured over spinach/mushroom mix. Topped with bacon and baked @ 350 for 25 minutes, topped with mozz cheese and baked at 350 for 10 more minutes. AMAZING!!! Great flavor and the chicken was SO moist!
