My husband loves crab cakes and I was so excited to make these based upon this recipe's star rating. Make sure you read people's reviews because almost everyone made adjustments before making them which, to me, is basically creating your own recipe not following the one given. All my husband and I could taste was pepper (and they were chopped fine) and the crab flavor was totally lacking (which is probably because it was canned, but hey- wanted to give the real recipe a shot). Don't waste your time- we're still searching for the perfect crab cake.

The Best Chicken Soup Ever

I was very excited to try making this homemade soup because of the recipes, but I have to say that I found this recipe bland beyond belief. I followed everything to a "t", but was not impressed with the finished product.

Italian Sausage Soup with Tortellini

I've been on the hunt for yummy Italian fare that would make my family proud and this soup delivers! I would almost call it a stew because it is pretty loaded :)

World's Best Lasagna

My family is Italian and my husband has been dying for me to make lasagna... the only problem was that I was great at eating it, but have never cooked it :) THIS RECIPE IS INCREDIBLE!!! This lasagna is flavorful and authentic! I made sure that I kept the fennel seed (don't forgo on it) and, per recommendation, I added some nutmeg to the ricotta. As an extra side note- I had no problem finding sweet Italian sausage at my local grocery store. Johnsonville (the same people that make the brats) had it available. Know this might not be the case for everyone, but ask a clerk just to be sure. ENJOY!!!

Chicken Eugene

My husband was so impressed with this meal because it tastes and looks gourmet without all the prep work. I did take some suggestions and used the buddig beef and lightly cooked and blotted the bacon before wrapping. It was absolutely delicious and very filling... my only suggestion is to use more cream of mushroom soup and sour cream for extra sauce. Yummy!
