Cookie Balls

Delicious although I do a little diffently. 1. use double stuffed cookies 2. crush cookies in food processor and then drop in the softened cream cheese. Process until just blended. 3. paint bon bon molds with chocolate and pipe mixture into them and then cover with more chocolate. I typically use dark chocolate wafers that you buy at Michael's or Joanns.

Swedish Meatballs I

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2009
Super yummy meatballs (I didn't make the sauce). I didn't have cream of wheat or ground meat so I used ground turkey and bread crumbs. I added 1 tbsp of butter and reduced milk to 2 tbsp because the meat was so lean. Also added about 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp of pepper.

Made as instructed and loved it!!!! I do prefer my peppers a little crunchier so will cook stuffing a little then add it to peppers. Can't wait to make again!

Sesame Shrimp Stir-Fry

Made pretty much as stated except cut down on cayenne pepper and didn't have peas so used broccoli. Husband loved it. He said the slight heat from the pepper was nice.

Apple Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2009
Pretty decent cake. It was better when cooled. Used butter instead of shortening and added 3tbsp milk otherwise I made exactly as stated. Next time I will add a little cinnamon to the cake batter. I noticed that someone said it was dry. You have to remember when checking the cake that there are apples in there so the crumbs/wetness you may get when checking with a toothpick may be the apples. I almost made that mistake.

Funnel Cakes IV

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2008
A little boring. Had to add a ton of sugar to get it to taste like anything. If I make it again, I will have to add something, maybe vanilla, to give it some flavor.
