About this Cook
I am the mother to six wonderful children and wife to an amazing man. Each day I have a minimum of eight people at my dinner table and often times more. I take pride in my cooking and it is one of the many things I can do to show my family how much I love them and like to see them taken care of.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake and to experiement with different dinner recipes. Whatever will feed a small army, I am willing to try.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to make the Easy Apple Crisp from this site, Simply Lasagna, and various others. My mother is Polish and I like to experiment with different European dishes as well.
My cooking tragedies
Cheesy grits, from this site, I don't know what happened but it turned out pretty bad.

Cuban Ropa Vieja
This is a great dish and smells wonderful! I doubled everything and put in the slow cooker for 9+ hours. I served over white rice and made cuban black beans also from this site. Excellent flavor!

Parmesan Baked Potatoes
This is a GREAT recipe! I had no idea what to do with potatoes for dinner tonight and was running out of time. I got on this site to find something tasty and quick when I found this. I had all the ingredients on hand and threw this together quick. The taste was GREAT. I used regular ol' parmesan cheese in the green can and added garlic. It was SO good. My kids ended up eating them with their hands and dipping them in ketchup like skins. I will definately stick this into my regular rotation. YUM!

Crunchy Chicken Balls
These were really good and really easy. I prepped everything and my 8 year old daughter rolled the balls and assembled everything else. Then...they were left on the counter and the dog got to them...
