I made this exactly as the recipe was described and it was delicious! It is not too thick at all, but rather light for a creamy soup and a past reviewer must not have added enough broth. I did add extra salt for my taste.

I made this for Thanksgiving today and it was oh so good! I sprinkled some pecan pieces into half of the pan before baking and it was so good I wanted to eat it for desert!!

I made this for Thanksgiving today and it was delicious and easy! I wish I had read the reviews first because I used the full 1 cup of water and it was too much. I used a pound cake mix because that is what I had but it looks like, according to my experience and the reviews, just about any cake mix can be used successfully. Definetly worth making - give it a try!
