I'm married and the mother of a 2 year old boy. I work part time in the family electronics business. My hobbies are cooking, drawing, painting and walking my dog, Pokey, who is a terrier mix. I love cooking everything italian. My family is from northern italy so I've been trying out more traditional northern dishes like polenta and fritelle. I mostly stick to italian, a lot of pasta dishes, seafood, etc. I have experimented a little with Thai cooking, but have not been that successful! I would like to try it again... and get some use out of the wok i bought! Christmas eve my father always makes these incredible sandwiches with all sorts of unusual ingredients like calamari, headcheese, and marinated eggplant... sounds strange but they are amazing. Christmas day we always have zabaglione, an italian sort of mousse, which is wonderful! Lately I've been making tiramisu as well, sort of starting my own tradition! Well my first Tiramisu I ever made remains my best and I can't ever seem to get it quite as good! I also make a mean spaghetti sauce that pleases everyone, even my picky in-laws! Well the whole thai thing, and overcooking capellini pasta to the point that it had just become an entire ball of mush!
