I've been married since I was 18 and luckily cooked a lot as a kid, therefore, I feel I'm pretty experienced. My kids come lurking around the kitchen every time they hear my mixer running! Cookies are #1 in my house! I also love to try new, extravagant recipes. My dad raves over my nut roll cookies. They are my grandmother's Yugoslavian recipe, and he says they are better than her's ever were! I spent about $25 once on ingredients for a multi-berry pie. It looked wonderful and impressive and was also very heavy. I had used a throw-away pie tin, and when I took it out of the oven, it buckled and fell right out of my hands. Scalding hot berries were everywhere!
