About this Cook
I'm a college student graduating in June! So excited! I will have a degree in Marketing and a degree in Business. I've lived on my own for 2 years and have really become interested in cooking since I don't have my daddy cooking wonderful meals every night!
My favorite things to cook
My dad has some great recipes that I love to make. I like to try all kinds of new recipes and have started cooking in my slow cooker but don't have many recipes for it yet. I use a lot of chicken and ground beef because I feel comfortable with them and there are many easy and fast recipes for them that are so good.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I'm Irish and German so we always have pork and kraut on New Years Day and corned beef and cabbage around St. Patrick's Day. We eat this stuff all year round though. So good!

Chicken with Cashews
My boyfriend loved this but I didn't care for it. I thought the peanut oil was too overpowering. It wasn't anything like cashew chicken at a chinese restaurant and he agreed that he likes that kind better. But he ate all of it!

Crab Rangoon III
My boyfriend absolutely loved these! He had been asking me to make chinese food and crab rangoons for a couple weeks and I finally looked up a recipe. They weren't too time consuming once I got the hang of it and cooked in no time in a deep fryer. I didn't think they tasted like the ones from any restaurant but they were good. I swear my boyfriend ate 20 of them that night and has been telling everyone how great they were. He won't stop bugging me to make them again!
