About this Cook
I'm 26 years old, and am fortunate enough to have a hubby that'll try just about anything, so I LOVE trying new recipes, and things that I cook up in my head.
My cooking tragedies
The first tofu cheesecake I ever attempted was a horrible horrible tragedy. I overcooked it, BIG TIME, and it tasted like dirt. I have since learned that I should follow recipes when it comes to desserts. Desserts are not my specialty, so I can't just make 'em up as I go along.

Vegan Apple Carrot Muffins
5 stars for the concept, that is for sure. The carrot and apple mixture are great together! 1 star lost due to the needed tweaking. I only used 1 tsp of baking soda, and 3/4 tsp of salt - otherwise we would have tasted nothing but those two ingredients! Also, I omit the oil to cut fat, and replaced it with two small mashed bananas. These muffins turned out fabulously! Thanks so much for the recipe. :)

Vegan Brownies
These are awesome brownies. I wanted to cut back on fat and calories some though, so I used splenda instead of white sugar, and 1 1/2 cups of soy milk and 1/2 cup of oil instead of 1 cup water and 1 cup of oil. YUM!

No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies
AMAZING! I absolutely love these cookies. I substituted vegan margarine for the oil, and added some extra oats and some cocoanut. Yummy, these are so great! I suspect that the people who had trouble with this recipe didn't boil the mixture long enough.
