I've been cooking for more than 52 years. Never did get the hang of it. Soups and stews If you don't have a recipe, make one up. I once roasted a duck. My father-in-law ate the whole thing. That was the best compliment about my cooking that I ever recieved in my entire life. Roasting a Thanksgiving turkey only to have my "helpful" son drop it on the floor just minutes before dinner.
