I'm a young, married college grad that's trying to make my husband happy! I like being creative and trying new things. Since my in-laws are all latin, I try and incorporate that same culture into our dinners.

I love to cook anything that's Latin. I love to bake as well.
My favorite family cooking traditions
There are a few things in the family, like chicken noodle soup, clam dip, cornbread dressing, mini ham sandwiches. But really, we love finding new recipes

Quinoa and Black Beans
We really liked this! It's very easy to make, and you can throw in whatever you want. I added tomatoes, and used chicken broth instead of vegetable broth. This is the first time I've ever had quinoa.

California Chicken
Love this! It's so EASY and you can use whatever kind of cheese you like. I used Munster cheese the other day and loved it!

Strawberry-Mango Mesclun Salad
Awesome salad! I used EVOO instead of canola oil, did not use cranberries and substituted agave nectar for sugar. Really pretty, yummy salad!
