My husband and I have been married for 10 years now. We have two beautiful children (Claire-age 8 and Seth-age 5) that, I am proud to say, aren't picky eaters. I prepare 100% of the food in our house and love to try new recipes. Cooking is not a chore for me, it is more of a hobby. Whenever my children want to ask me a question or talk to me, they always look for me in the kitchen first! I love to make appetizers, desserts, main courses. I really like to experiment with copying restaurant recipes. My latest attempt is P.F. Chang's chicken lettuce wraps and dipping sauce. You name it and I will try it...except for seafood. I abhor the smell of fishy foods! Both of my children love to work with me in the kitchen. In particular, m son, Seth, calls himself Emeril--as in Emeril Lagasse on Food Network. He always makes sure to adorn himself in his chef coat and hat when he prepares something to eat with me.
