I love it when people walk into my home and smile. They follow their noses into my kitchen and start getting their hands smacked...Cooking is one of my many loves in life and I intend it to be a very long affair. My passion for food helps me through life. It brings love, hope, laughter and happiness to myself and my family. I love to bake pretty much anything. I spend a lot of time making appetizers and desserts. I also love trying out different things that are portable so that my girls and husband can take them to school or work. It's amazing what you can put in a lunchbox if your creative enough. I am trying to start new traditions with my girls because my family doesn't really have many. I love baking with my daughters. My fudge! I will have to say that finding the time and energy to cook something new every other day is a triumph for me. I love it so much and it is very comforting but with such a crazy life sometimes it's easier to make the same old thing. Cinnamon rolls, I first tried them when I was 12 and forgot the yeast. My dad is so sweet he tried to eat them even though I am sure they tasted horrible.
