Colleen's Slow Cooker Jambalaya

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2009
I am cooking this right now and my house smells great! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is b/c I had to make some adjustments based on what I had...I used a can of mexicorn and a can of budlight clamato (closest thing to tomato that I had!) I also used regular italian sausage and instead of the spices listed used the creole seasoning from this site...my mouth is watering b/c just smelling it cook! This will definitely be a regular b/c it is SO easy to make and it is one of those recipes that you already have the ingredients in your kitchen!

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2009
This is still cooking and already it tastes GREAT!!! The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because I made some changes...I did as one viewer said and cooked the chicken in 1 cup chicken broth, some garlic powder, and salt and pepper on high for 4 hours. I also added some chopped onion and a little bit of jalepeno juice to give it a kick. I shredded the chicken and drained most of the fat, and then added the bbq sauce/dressing mixture (which sounded so weird) and am cooking it for 2 more hrs. on low. The house smells wonderful! I will be serving this over baked potatoes!
