Baked Applesauce
I had some apples that were a little too mealy for eating out of hand, so I needed something to do with them. I didn't notice that we were supposed to cover the baking dish, so I added a little bit of cider with ten minutes or so left and covered it with tin foil. I served it very chunky with a drop of heavy cream. A big hit with a group of hungry actors!

Chocolate Cornstarch Pudding
Delish! I don't keep cornstarch on hand, so I used 1/2 cup of flour to thicken it. I ran out of vanilla making French Toast this morning, but next time I make this I will use it. Because I only had salted butter in the house (grocery store mishap), I omitted the salt the recipe asked for.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies
These cookies are really great! I'm making Christmas cookies and I'm running low on flour, so these were ideal. In order to keep the cookies from sticking to the fork when I pressed them down, I dipped it in granulated sugar. I added a dash of vanilla, 'cause I always add vanilla when recipes don't call for it. I hope these are as good tomorrow.
