Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream
This is a lovely dish. For full flavor, imported Italian plum tomatoes are a must (I used Cento brand). The consistency of this product contributes to a much richer and more intense flavor than domestic canned tomatoes provide. The extra cost is well worth it. The flavors are meant to be subtle, but for those who insist on cheese with Italian food, a side dish of Parmesan could be offered. An added bonus is that the dish goes together quickly.
